Speaking as someone who creates the FAB drawings, I send them in the
same format that the rest
of the data is in.
Be it Gerber file or within a GC-Prevue GWK file with the rest of the
board layers.

My suppliers seem happy with this because they view it at the same time
as the rest of the data with
the same program, (far less hassle than starting up AutoCAD).
