Hi,
Intrusive reflow 101; apply solder cream into the relevant PTH of the PCB;
push the lead of the component thru the filled hole (and hence the solder
cream also); then reflow the assembly to form a thru hole joint. This is a
method of avoiding wave or flow soldering PTH joints and consolidating the
process on reflow techniques on 'mixed' technology boards.

Hi, gang.
You assembly people just used another term alien to us board guys. What
is "intrusive reflow"?
Thanks.
