        Now Steve,

Yeah, and then you get the singular pleasure of sticking it to a
bare board fab . . . . like me.

Might have your contract folks look at what they owe you in late
fees for delivering boards that failed.

You're lucky, at least, you get to blame somebody else - 'them'.
I'm a bare board and assembly engineer.
Talk about pointing a finger at yourself.

But you have a point and a right to be upset. Ask the boss to talk
to Legal - the boards were suppose to be good and aren't. You might be able
to get them to credit the lost time/resources - depends on your contract and
whether Management is willing to pursue it.

One company I worked for, not PCB, terminated a contract and they
got paid zip for 9-10 months work, major supplies, etc.

        Now Steve . . . try and relax a little (I've been/am there ) . . .
you've got 2000 give or take of us to work it out.

You said these boards were hi-rel, right?
If the shop has a qualification; MIL-PRF-55110 or MIL-PRF-31032 then
they could lose it over crap boards like these.
If it happened here I wouldn't be able to sit for a week, . . . for
various reasons.  :->

Well, yeah. You can do cross sections in house or have the board
shop do it as part of the process - you're the customer.
Do they/you have an independent lab testing the Group B coupons?

> It'll keep people honest...

People you can trust are very important.
I don't know too many companies that can stay in busy very long that
are dishonest. No names. No names.
