If you have an own Klondyke in your cellar (many US companies have) my advice is not needed. If, however, you live like most of us, I recommend you to have a look in Bid's latest book pages A52-A56. They have (had) some K&S 4124s, very good manual bonders, for under 10k'. I have bought some equipments from them, serious, good company.

He is referring to a Manual bonder, not automatic wire bonder. Manual
bonder has a simple position system and a handle to push for each bond...You
