Hi there, I am about to start my first project that uses 3mm SMT LED's
that shine through a hole in the PCB.
These are to be seen through a plastic membrane.
To be placed by a Quad QSV-1 & reflow soldered.

Can someone answer a few questions for me please.

Should the hole be plated or unplated (& why)?

Do you have any preference between "gull wing" or "z bend" or whatever
(& why)?
