Nelco 4000-13 at 1GHz is about 3.8, Getek is 3.5-4.2

At a previous company we were using teflon for RF applications running
1.9GHz signals. Unfortunately this limited us to double-sided boards, and
the second side was solid ground melded to a pallet to give us the reference
plane.

We experimented with a Rogers material (I think it was 4350?) which had
similar characteristics to teflon, but Rogers can be processed for
multilayer and is way cheaper, and the dielectric constant was around
3.3-3.6 .

Here is a comparison of material properties, Thanks to Merix!

Good Luck,

I just had a discussion with engineer about our RF project.
He would really like to
see a lower-loss material. What is the characteristic
dielectric constant (DC) for
                Getek and Nelco 4000-13? I haven't used/specified these
before. Or if there are
other common materials, excluding polyimide or teflon, that
I could suggest. The
goal is a DC less than 4.
