Dear Gaby,
I'm gaga and rigid and I think slowly, so my advice may be very oldfashioned: first step, avoid gold teminations if possible! If you have just a fraction of a micron, it's no problem, you can use most solders, depending on what you have under the gold. If you have gold thickness like several microns, you have to degold before soldering.
Ceramic cap with gold, not so common, can't you order tinned terminals instead. We mount millions of them but never with gold.
Cheers

Dear Technetters!
Could you please give me information about the best soldering method and
materials for a ceramic capacitor with gold terminations on FR4?
Thanks,
Gaby
