Hi Franklin,
I am a consultant--I guess that makes me a non-target; but it is not
appropriate to respond to a TechNet query on an individual basis,
particularly if this is a solicitation. A public question should be answered
as a public response.
Perhaps, you should respond publicly to such a direct e-mail, with the
solicitation attached, to alert the TechNetters of such practices (and
practitioners).
However, to say

is a broad-brushing I do not appreciate; you should not the actions of one
(perhaps two) consultant misusing the TechNet as applying to the rest of us.
