Hi Earl -
You hit the nail right on the head.  Too many folks continue to want to take
the PW board for granted and don't recognize it as a key element in the task
of "design for manufacture".  It's producibility and materials are simply
assumed by many of the folks who are pouring their entries into all forms of
advanced devices.

In the past I've fortunately had the assignment of working very closely with
the PC Fab houses prior to commiting a product to design.  This has been
rewarding in terms of product developed, pitfalls avoided and personal
satisfaction.
