Hi Tom,
        We place a lot of 0402's with our CP 6/5's.  Like thousands per board,
and defect levels are below 200 per millions of operations.  We don't
let the machine run slow either, otherwise it would take forever to
build each board.  The primary (only) defect we get with 0402's are
tombstones, and 0603's never tombstone.  I have even successfully placed
16 mil pitch small SOIC's with the CP 6/5 without causing shorts
(although I don't think we could do this all the time at the less than
500 DPMO level).  Needless to say, I am very impressed with the
capability of the CP 6.  By the way, we are finding the primary
determinate for tombstones on 0402's happens at the screen printer with
paste alignment, paste volume, and paste release.
