Hi Donn -

This comes down to a machine vision capability question.  We are using HASL
1mm fiducials in virtually all applications - because the equipment will
handle it.  Many years ago, I had an "adapted robotic system" in place that
would handle .125" solder coated fiducials, so we used them until we
replaced that equipment.
