Hi Jeff,

        I do not know to what kind of testing you want to submit your ICs,
but if you are interested into thermal testing of your ICs, we may have
something of interest for you. We are a company located in Montreal (Canada)
with an office in Cincinati. We have an infrared screening inspection
system. It is used mainly for PCBs, but it has some potential for single
ICs. Some experiments show the validity of the product for ICs. The
technology is based on the principle that under specific electrical
stimulation of a PCB (or IC in your case), the unit under test (UUT) shows a
given sequence of thermal signatures captured by an infrared camera.
Defective PCBs (ICs) are giving thermal deviations in comparison with the
standard thermal signatures of good PCBs (ICs).
