We are using pattern plating. After carbon treatment of our acid plating
bath, we ran dummies for 2 hours then plate our panels. However the area
around the holes showed dull and slightly rough finishes. The areas
which have no holes showed shiny. We use the plating bar method. We
etched the pattern and then use platting bar for connections. We ran two
panels in a bath which was not carbon treated and they were fine. The
PTH walls looked dull and slightly rough too. Can anyone help?
