   There is Beta Backscatter, X-ray Fluorescence And Cross sectional
analysis using a high powered microscope with a reticle.We have both Beta
Backscatter and X-ray Fluporescence equipment from Veeco Instruments for
measuring plating thicknesses.

What devices or techniques do you know of that can measure the thickness
of external & internal copper on a PWB from a PWB Manufacturer that does not
involve micro-section?
