Philips does an excellent job.  Besides Philips, Siemens, UIC (via Broome
Eng'g), Mydata, MPM and DEK all do.  In fact, if there is a particular brand
of equipment you are interested in, check with the manufacturer and see what
they have.
Buying used from the OEM is the best way to go with used.  There are a few
reputable brokers out there, just as there a very few reputable used car
salesmen - need I say more.
When you buy from the OEM you are assured of the latest possible hardware and
software updates.  Note that most OEMs will not support used equipment a user
may have obtained from a broker or at auction.
Also, you can get the history of a particular piece of equipment, regardless
of where you are buying it from, by checking the serial number with the Field
Service people of the OEM.  They keep a folder on every piece of equipment
they install and can tell you whether it is a "creampuff" and used by a
little old lady who only assembled on Sunday or if it is a "beater".
