You don't mention what ceramic you want, there are numerous variants of LTCC (Low Temp Ceramic) and HTCC(High Temp Ceramic). The most delicate I have seen were made by Kyocera, they have about 10 different tapes. Kyocera have representatives in 10 states, plant in San Diego, try (619)576-2600 or call Kyoto directly. You also have Sorep/France, MSE/Germany, Bosch/Germany, Remtec/Mass, Sumitomo/Japan, CPT/Cal, and many more. Depending on what size you wish, there are also sapphire substrates, diamond substrates and silicon substrates. I recommend you to buy Tummala's book "Microelectronics Packaging Handbook" ISBN 0-442-20578-3 from van Nostrand N.Y. A call to IBM in Fishkill could also be an idea. They have 30 years of ceramic experience. Good Luck.

Subject: Re: [TN] Info on Ceramic PCB's needed

I've seen 11 mil thick, 2 layer ceramic circuits - but you have to
handle them very carefully, as they break easily.
