Dave,

Alot of people are using Plasma cycles to treat the PTFE surface prior to PTH. Some popular
cycles are He and O and 80%H 20%N. It depends on the application and the plasma equipment being
used. This of course can be tested empirically by taking a PTFE surface treating it and
measuring the wettability or contact angle of a solution applied to the surface.

Many Moons ago.....(No offense Earl)
Some R and D efforts were being demonstrated successfully
with plasma etchings PTFE with Helium. (I guess they also
did some flex that way too) Anyways....Is anybody still
doing this or is it still R and D????????
