Hi Greg -
In my consulting work, I use CostCoach which does everything you describe. I
use it to estimate the true cost of production as it takes into account
equipment depreciation, supply and component cost, and more. I also use it
for scenarios - what if we replaced the old chip shooter with a new piece of
equipment, what will the real return on investment be, and things like that.
I admit I have a bias as I was involved in its development. It takes a
little learning but it is economically priced. You can find it (and actually
