All but the LED's are too big for screened on peelable resist (drips
through), and we cannot apply that to the SMT side. >>

In my previous experience this would not be a problem at all for a PVA
coating system to selectively coat, then cure. The main issue to consider is
the smallest spacing between things that must be coated and things that must
be left uncoated. I worked with spacings as small as .020 without much
problem.
