Well ; just to conclude this latest of Steve's stirs (worked, seems);
a little note:
I still miss Phil Zarrow ; and when he signed off I was very much inclined
to do same ,
Werner's dogged integrity kept me on .
Running industrial design inc., apart from raising ResMed's processes
(you've guessed it , another retained consultant = no
holidays,sickies,rest,security,non performing cruising. etc.etc.)
does keep me busy enough ;
and every illustrious bull I mail over costs me a time before midnight ;
not appreciated in bedroom .
On Werners note, to some of you :
if you do not know what the hell you takin' about ; please restrain yourself
.
He helped me (apart from thousands others) on countless occasions when I
runned short on reliabilities,
not taking a nickel for it ; being one of very few I feel I owe to .
Hearing the fresh roosters going naive is common enough ;
but despite Steve's hope that there are tones of sages on Net I do not share
that observation .
It takes more than just a knowledge .

Overall; this place IS a relative refuge from still less intelligent
surround .

Otherwise, Gary's latest mirror reply says it all

Hi Mike,
Am I selling something? Well, I guess every time a put my name under a
posting it keeps my name current. So I guess I do in that sense. But, what I
am trying to do is give back to the industry, that has been pretty good to
me
for over 30 years. Right now I sure don't need more business, I am as much
loaded up until the end of the year as I would like to be; I like to play
golf 3 times a week and have to keep up with the industry and literature;
after all, as my wife keeps reminding me, I am retired (sort of). However,
when people need more substantial help it might reduce the search process.
Do you really think giving advice away for free is good business. My wife
thinks I am crazy to do it; and after having gone through some 150 e-mails
today, I can't really tell her that she is wrong [some of you may agree with
her anyway]. But if it were that good a selling tool, where are the other
consultants?
Werner
