Hi Paul

There's no dignity as long as we bleed, visit toilets and kill to live ;
believe me .
I've just had this nice carrot in fridge ; it's spring here ; and that poor
orange thing sprouted roots ; shot few green cute leaves and there I was :
chopping it to a salad !
Did cry before the onions ; being the new age sensitive fellow.........

Luckily most of us are sufficiently preprogrammed with appropriate
limitations .

Anyhow :
I think Chuck misread your few thousands PER HOUR as just few thousands .
If you have this hours lasting years ; true some of the gear
(axial,radial,loose: cutter/formers)is made in SEAsia ;
still ; for lasting blades you need to do better .

I'd recommend EBSOMAT ; if you need reliability ;
as Steve said : get on the DOGPILE multisearch engine ; type the agenda ,
some of the preforming options are quite ingenious .
Even if you would not have the budget for it (the hand mills are cheap
enough) ;
you learn enough to find your own way .
When I started in my poor old days ; we guillotined radials with a paper
cutter (as few of us did) .

Have a fun (best rum(J)in the grog, by the way)

Subject: [TN] Lead cutter/former.

Hi Technetters,

I have been reading technet for some time now and have found much of
interest
there.

This may be rather beneath the dignity of most of the technetters but I need
a
manually operated lead cutter/former capable of doing a few thousand parts
per
hour.

They seem to be still being made in the Far-East or if anyone has a used one
to
sell I would be very happy to buy it.

Paul
