You know, I wonder why we are even discussing this. How long do we expect computers to
last in this ever evolving computer age. 6 months ago I upgraded my home computer with
a 440LX motherboard and 300Mhz Celeron. Yesterday I ordered a 440BX motherboard with a
400Mhz Celeron. In another 6 months or so I plan to replace the Celeron Processor with
a Pentium 3 (once pricing becomes reasonable) or one of these new Celeron's with the
100Mhz bus speed that I hear rumors of. About the only thing I don't upgrade at least
once every two years might be the monitor (although I suspect that my current monitor
is the next thing to become obsolete).
