Topic: DFM for Assembly

The presentation on DFM for assembly focuses on newer components and
pick-and-place capabilities. Advances in equipment capabilities and the use
of newer components should have an influence on the design process. The
presentation on DFM for assembly will focus on these new areas of concern for
the designer. Also on the agenda is a brief look at section 14 of IPC-SM-782
(ball grid array land patterns).

George Grom, VP Operations with OSDA Contract Services, will give the
presentation.
