Hi Jim!

Go to:  http://www.tekpak.com and they have Adobe *.PDF documents there of
the all the EIA Standard dimensions for carrier tape, width, pocket size,
whatnot...you can check things against those documents. Maybe the parts
you're having problems with are sized in such a way that they require custom
pockets, and whoever is supplying you the parts is trying to save some money
by using off-the-shelf tape because custom pockets ARE more expensive...but
I'm just guessing there. Either way, you should'nt have a bunch of slop in
the pocket, or it be so tight that the machine can't pick it outta the
pocket. I'd send em' back to get re-taped correctly.
