Hola Steve!

We switched from Armakleen to Aquanox chemistry back in March. The
Armakleen stuff is certainly a scale king. And while Kyzen's stuff can be
expensive at ~$30/gallon it has done a good job so far. That was after I
spent a week (or two) troubleshooting the blasted machine with a very
dedicated Kyzen rep. It turned out that several 'features' of my
conveyorized cleaner were wiping out the chemistry in about 2 weeks.

Problem #1
AutoFill on the Wash Sump was diluting the solution whenever it lost some.
Solution #1
Replace the Solenoid valve with a manual valve. Once a week I go back,
check the concentration (target 24%) and add water.

Problem #2
Ventilation System was pulling solution up the vent shaft.
Solution #2
Keep the machine turned off unless we're running product through it.

Problem #3
Bad Drain Controller. When you opened the drain it would drain. When you
closed the drain it would drain slowly.
Solution #3
Disconnected the solenoid and installed a manual valve.

(At the time, it felt like I would have to completely dismantle the thing to
make it run properly.)

Since solving these problems I have only had to make a couple of adds and
completely recharge it once. And that was because a gasket blew and we lost
half the chemistry. Now, we run all sorts of products through it - reflowed
boards and assembled boards. We went with Kyzen because the chemistry can
really load up with dirt and it has proved successful, so far (4 months and
counting).

I'm not familiar with the Electrovert MCS-1000 but you might have the same
gremlins.
