     Frank:

     Take a look at the low end setting of your bareboard tester.  Chances
     are good it is only going down to ~ 20 Ohms (or higher) if your
     tester/fixtures have contact issues.  With these settings, you can
     have a variety of issues escaping.

     Also:  where are you finding the escapes?  Depending on where in the
     process you are finding the opens (especially after boards assembly)
     you may have boards that will test good at the bare board level with
     latent defects that will pop up after the assembly process.

     Just some thoughts...!

Does anyone measure, or have data on electrical test escapes from bareboard
testing. Interested in any analysis/thoughts you may have concerning the reasons
for the escapes.
