Janice/Nancy:

When the B revision of IPC-A-610 was translated last year, we considered the progress
on the next revision and determined that the cost and effort to translate the
training materials was not viable. Purchases of the Spanish version have been quite
low (a few hundred copies over a year) and the low usage also supports our decision.
Translation of training materials is being considered for the next revision. Jack

Nancy,

I would be very surprised if they do. I have used the new Spanish version
for classes and it worked great, till they try the test. IPC does not want
to put a Spanish version for the test, that is the information I received.
So it makes it impossible for some people to pass and get certified by IPC.
I had to get a translation myself for both tests and I certify the people
through there company only. It was very expensive to get the tests
translated.

Subject: [TN] IPC 610 and others in Japanese

Hi Technetters,
Background:
My company is new to IPC here in the states and Japan
They (TRMI ) originated in Japan around 1948
I believe they have about 10 Locations around the world.
So you can understand our need for the standards to be in
  Japanese.
Question.
 1) Will IPC-A-610 or any of the standards be in Japanese any time
      soon.
 2) Will any of the new videos be in Japanese
 3) Has any one already translated from English to Japanese
      Can I receive a copy?
