        Since Gerber data is, very simplestic,
   "location/flash/light on/location/flash/
  light off", you can not get an intelligent netlist
  from the data. Ya, ya ..plot the top/bot layer add
  marking/silkscreen data and extract. How about the
  dense designs that don't have room for nomenclature
  or I just don't want to add reference designations
  or bga's, ultra fine pitch with non-uniform pin outs
  or alpha/numeric pins?? Not so easy if not impossible.
  More data must be supplied to the vendor, other then
  Gerber, to extract an intelligent net list. If I am
  wrong, please tell me. Happy weekend to all.
