A very practical suggestion which every design engineer should be doing for new product design. The IPC and the IEC have published
specifications for the component compatibility and this is what should be used for reference when running trials or examining new
designs.

Unfortunately the peak temperatures for the test may allow direct assessment for components for current lead free alloys but it does
not leave the same margin for error that it currently does.
