Hello fellow LeadFree-ers,
I have done some asking of some people and done some web surfing and have
not found any specific information that addresses a couple of questions I
have. I have gone to: www.leadfree.org and www.lead-free.org.
I am curious as to the current status of the EC directive that proposed to
ban lead by 2004. I had heard within the last couple of months that it had
been delayed. Is this true? And if so, to when?
Also, I have heard that Japan has begun lead free production. Has any
information on its results been published anywhere? I am curious what
methods and practices have been employed to tackle this issue and if there
has been any significant life studies done and published.
Thanks in advance!
