Guenter (and all),

I certainly am not "mad" at you for your observations, and I understand
your perspective. I apologize (to all) if it seems that I am being "pushy"
and "not very
professional" about our discussion of CASTIN, but . . .

Please note that I joined this group only to learn more about the lead-free
issue and hopefully to be able to provide some insight from a solder
vendor's point of view.

In response to the following mail please also note that:

1) The discussion about the CASTIN alloy began before I was even a member
of the Leadfree Electronics Assembly E-Mail Forum. I simply tried to address
the questions raised about the alloy. I used the "brandname" because that is
how the questions
were posed. I believe that others have mentioned CASTIN earlier and more
frequently than I have.

2) The correct spelling of CASTIN is in all capitals- it is an acronym
which stands for Copper, Antimony, Silver, TIN. Capital letters were to
create emphasis or to be pushy.

I hope that I am forgiven- maybe I'll stay quiet for a while :-)
