By "Blooming" I think you are talking about the spreading of photo tool features we
sometimes refer to as "Flash". This can be caused by dents in polyester photo tools,
dents in Mylar vacuum frames and other "off contact" exposures. Is there something in
the way of contamination keeping you from achieving intimate contact between your photo
tool and the dry film? Are you working with a thinner substrate than usual? If so
maybe whatever you are using as a bleeder is keeping you from good contact. If your
vacuum frame is glass on glass and you use to much tape or your tape from your upper
and lower tool is aligned with each other this may be holding your plates apart. Give
us some more details or call me at 818.734.4930
