Check with Brady label at www.whbrady.com.  They have a number of sleeve
marking products and software.  you can use your dot-matrix printer
(better for large quantities) or their dedicated printer.  Their
software works well. Brady used to sell ribbons for most printers, I'm
not sure if they still do.  You will have to run tests on commercial
ribbons to verify that they meet your fade, smear, solvent resistance,
etc requirements.  We use both the dedicated printer for short run PROM
labelling and a dot-matrix printer with a dedicated computer for larger
quantities. Hope this helps.
