Unified National Fine is the thread series. 10 is the major diameter and 32 is the number of threads per inch. You will have to look at chart in a book such as Machinist Handbook to find out the major diameter. 2B is the class of thread. There also handy dandy charts availabe from tool suppliers like Brown and Sharpe or Starrett.

I hate to display my ignorance but I need to know what #10-32 UNF-2B thru means. I understand it is a treading requirement with a 10-32 tap but I dont know what "UNF-2b thru"means.
