After reading the comments on the newsgroups & email forums about
Protel, it too has many
"undocumented features" and can have a "stoppage of service" several
times a day.
(even software has to have breaks!)

The general consensus was that Protel98, although full of these features
was more stable than Protel99.

And to change to another CAD package, Cadstar for windows has these
features too ! I have a tea break
several times a day (just after the crash!). I am still running V2.41
though, version 3.01 is out but that just
would not run on my system. I hear that V3.02 is due to be sent to me
within the next couple of weeks
and that version 4 is due out later this year.

I bet that they too are full of "undocumented features", but then what
software is not ?

P.S. These comments are only made as an observer of 'other Protel
products users comments' and not as a user.
But as a "user" of Cadstar - them thar comments are mine !!
