Hello !
I have some boards which have diodes on, (nothing strange
there).
But during the cleaning, the polarity and markings have
washed off.

we know which components have this problem, so we fit
these components,
then inspect the board before cleaning and then inspect
after completion.
unfortunately, one diode did slip through the net i.e.
fitted thr wrong way
round. our testers did not like that, as it did some
damage. and refuse to
test any boards with markings missing.

The question is, is there a I.P.C. standard or comment
that allows
the use of these components where all the markings have
been removed?

The detergent being used is a armaclean or vigon.
