Hi there, after seeing a previous post & having a chat with a QUAD
engineer I'd like to ask you folks
what sort of methods you use to mark bad boards within a panel?

Currently we have no working method of telling our Quad 100 p&p machines
that a board is bad & not to place
components on it.
We have tried placing white dots on the boards but its a bit hit & miss,
so we just refuse to use panels with bad boards in.
This I know causes problems & a slight price rise due to the
manufacturers waste.

What has been suggested is to put an array of 1mm copper circles (resist
free), in the borders of the panel
in the same step & repeat arrangement as the boards, and have the p&p
machine scan them first to determine
the bad-uns.

What I would like to know is what you folks use/do for this??
