Jim,

we are using a FCP-3 machine as the main chip shooter. Do not worry about
its capabilities, it's more than OK, robust, fast, reliable.
So I'm very pleased with it, and I recommend this machine, but..., but,
let's talk a little about your application.

Don't expect to place all that you mentioned, since the machine doesn't
change nozzles during the insertion cycle. It only accomodates two different
nozzle sizes at a time.

I didn't try it with ICs, but I think it has no problem with SOICs, but it
definetly won't place a 25 mils.

Now, the FUJIs are designed for high to ultra high volume, so they are not
exactly flexible. The setup time is long.
The software is complexe, with lots of capabilities, but takes time to
learn.

Since we are having also a low to medium volume, I learned a lot of tricks
on using the CP-3 for this kind of applications.

There's a lot to say, so you may contact me over the phone.

All the best,

Ioan Tempea
