I am in the process of designing and building fixtures to aid our assemblers when soldering.  My questions is: Do these fixtures need to be conductive?  Our assembly area follows strict ESD procedures and the ESD engineer thinks that the fixtures should be conductive to the static dissapative mats we work on.
