Hello, one and all. Firstly I've been logged on for some
time now and have enjoyed reading some useful imfo' So
congratulation and Thankyou. ( creep creep )
My Question, Although not quite the usual.
We have a small but densely populated motherboard, which
is conventionally w/w to board mounted connector's which are then
hard wired to approx.' 20 (38999). 60 way connectors.
Now we are hopeing to be able to redesign the m-board,
incorporating edge connectors or IDC. Then the interfacing could
be done with Ribbon cable or Flexi-Rigid cables pre-assembled to
the 38999's so then we can just plug into the m-board !
Can anyone suggest suppliers / manufacturers of these
kind of Flexi-rigid cable assy's with or without connector's
This although an expensive redesign would present
considerable saving's to us.

Regards and thankyou.
