There is essentially no direct connection between oxide weight and pink ring
resistance. It turns out that the most common anti-pink ring treatment does
not work reliably on low oxide weights, but that does not mean it works
"better" at high weights, it merely works reliably.
Further, the heavier the oxide weight (greater weight loss), the poorer the
bond strength.
