First of all you might want to talk to your vendor(s) over the phone. They can be more specific as to how they make YOUR boards. Many of them will also pay a visit to your facility. Our vendors have come to answer questions, solve existing or potential problems, and/or see how our workload to them will be in the future. I don't believe this is an unnatural thing for them to do. It sure doesn't hurt to call.

that is, I might sound dumb, but, please get over it and help me see the
light.

I need to know how the PCBs are manufactured. My company doesn't want to
send me tour our suppliers, so Technet is my only solution.

First a quick one: how the contour of the board is obtained, is it stamped
out from the big sheet, or milled around?
Second an easy one: any source available on the Net about PCB manufacturing
from A to Z?

Thanks, Ioan
