Bob,

Not knowing the exact age of your machine, I may be off-base here, but here
goes. If the unit is more than a few years old, it may not be even running
unix & TPSYS. As I recall, when we upgraded our TP9 (circa 1992) to the
newer OS, we basically had to replace the entire CPU unit along with some
other hardware changes. The engineer was in our facility for the better
part of a day and a half. If your wanting to run the newest TPSYS, you'll
probably also be faced with the required magazine upgrades to go along with
it. Not much help I'm afraid, but just my two cents.

Subject: [TN] MyData Pick & Place

Hello All:

I work for a contract manufactures that uses MyData pick and place
equipment. We recently purchased an older TP9 and would like to make
its operating system compatable with our existing TP9-UFP. MyData
wnats an arm and a leg for this conversion. Does anyone have a
suggestion?

We also interested in the following equipment:
* MyData feeders or entire machine
* '95 or newer solder wave with hot air knife
*  ESD tubs
*  ESD smocks

Thanks for your help!

Bob
