Does anyone know a test method to determine the concentration of flux built up
in a water wash reservoir? We currently monitor the saponifier concentration,
Loncoterge 530, we use in our board wash. I want to do a correlation study of
the effects of flux concentration in the wash cycle to the rate at which there
is resistivity loss in the rinse cycle.

What I am trying to do is set this up as a SPC parameter so that we can monitor
& how this impacts the resistivity. The cation/anion beds for the rinse are
very expensive and I am trying to see what we can do to extend the life of
them... Also, I want to see if this has any impact on our ionic contamination
after the wash.

Thanks in advance,

Rob Watson
