Hi all,

Just thought I would comment on something I came across this last weekend
that brought the validity of CE in my opinion to new light. (Thanks for
opening the door Steve!)

This small metallic shinny package about 2" x 3" was sitting in a box on a
local 7-11 store counter. My attention was first caught by the name of the
item. I picked it up and was looking at this package and noticed the CE logo
on the back side. The instructions were in what I would term oriental
translated English. I was pretty surprised at the product and its bold
display on the counter. (I know, I haven't told you what the product is)

With thoughts of amazement I just couldn't believe this was for sale, and
for how much? Well, I got a big surprise to find it only priced at 35cents.
I couldn't pass this one up. I just had to give this to our product safety
guy to show how well international standards are being applied to products.

The product? Well the name of it is, Fart Bomb. It is supposed to create a
smell that is obnoxious. No, I do not know what it smells like, I am not
that interested, thanks!

Any correlation here to the lead-free push? Who knows. All I can say is that
ANYTHING can be taken to the utterly ridiculous.

So, do not fret, good comes from all actions! LEAD FREE! LEAD FREE! LEAD
FREE! YEA! YEA! YEA!

Richard Hamilton
(Voicing my own opinion here which does not
constitute......well,.....anything!)
