Greetings,
First off ... as a newbie to the production side of things, this forum has
been very educational. Quite diverse and informative.

My question regards using lacing to "strap in" large ICs (microcontroller)
to their sockets. Are there any standards for using lacing? Square knot or
Granny knot? A better way to keep the IC in, allow easy removal and
replacement, but not use RTV, epoxies or other sticky stuff?

Thanks for your time

Regards,
Dave Hipp
