Since most fab notes specify a minimum hole wall thickness of 1 mil
continuous, calculate the current handling ability of a trace with a width
equal to the diameter of the hole and a thickness of 1mil,
Then multiply by 3.141592654
A calculator can be found at: http://www.ultracad.com/calc.htm

Subject: Through-hole current calculator?
How much current can that via safely handle? What are the
effects over temperature? Area and plating considerations?
A current calculator of sort would help simplify a bit.
Thanks,
