Any Gerber viewer/cam product that can save Postscript
to a file can then be run through the Adobe Acrobat
distiller.
I do this all of the time to review output. I use
GBRVU from Artwork Conversion and configure output
to Postscript BW.
The Adobe Acrobat is about $295 and is useful for all
types of conversion to PDF. We've even converted HPGL
files from old CAD systems in Postscript and then archived
thousands of schematics to CD's to PDF.
