Hi Ed,
You do not say how large the LCCCs are nor on what substrate they are 
mounted. 
However, with this much Au in a vibratory environment one does not even have 
to consider cyclic thermal expansion mismatches—these assemblies are in 
trouble.
Some standard MIL vibration testing should give you a good indication and 
convince management. That way you do not have to perform the more 
resource-intensive thermal cycling.
The various Mantech studies (Martin-Marietta, early 1990's; etc.) should also 
give you good information just on LCCCs on polymeric substrates.
