Hi,

Interesting question. The only thing which comes to mind is this. The
stencil is 6mm thick. Then logic says you will get 6mm of paste. We use
metal squeegees with metal stencils for years and have good results. The
only thing is if Vendor 1 boards pads are as wide and the stencil holes.
Then you should get 6mm of paste. But if vendor 2's pads are wider then the
PCB is not flush with the stencil. The paste on the pads still will be 6mm
but maybe the pads on the board are wider and not hot air leveled so
good????? Just my 2 cents. Have a great week.
